I am a native of northern California, born and raised in a once small town of Arcata, home of Humboldt State University and currently live in Modesto. I've taken art classes for as long as I remember and studied fine arts and graphic design at the Academy of Art in San Francisco and
various other community colleges and have exhibited my artwork in shows including solo exhibits.
My artwork reflects a little of who I am and expresses my love for nature and for my home town as you will see in the pieces from my Humboldt County collection. Select gift shops along the Pacific Coast Highway in northern California sell postcards of my Redwoods sketches and for my home town pieces, I give credit to the local photographers for inspiration.

“Art has always been an exhilarating experience for me. My works are in both watercolor and acrylics. I love abstract because there’s freedom with the imagination in the technique. Each painting I complete is a celebration of the gift that guides my every brush stroke. Daily sketching keeps me in alignment with my purpose and on track with who I really am. I paint because it makes my heart sing.”
